Visits to the castle are by guided tour only and tours leave regularly throughout the day. We hope you enjoy your visit!

Glamis Castle is also available for weddings, gala dinners and corporate dining, please do get in touch if you want to make your event a truly unique and unforgettable experience!

Upcoming Events

By gracious permission of Queen Elizabeth II, Glamis Castle will be displaying a collection of royal robes, gowns and coronets worn at the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother! Our Coronation Exhibition officially opened to the public on Friday 12th May, exactly 80 years to the day since King George VI and Elizabeth of Glamis were anointed and crowned at Westminster Abbey on 12th May 1937. It is the only exhibition of its kind and is something not to be missed!

The exhibition is open daily until 29th October and is included in our regular admission ticket prices. We look forward to welcoming you!

We are delighted to announce that the Glamis Prom 2017 will be An Evening at The Musicals!

We are thrilled to welcome the Glamis Prom Orchestra and our special guest artists:

Scotland’s national treasure Susan Boyle, Casualty and Holby City star Lee Mead, Broadway singing sensation Christina Bianco, Bitain’s Got Talent star Jai McDowall and the glorious voices of 8-piece choir Soul Nation will all be appearing.

This year promises to be the biggest Glamis Prom to date and our entertainment will start at 17:30 with local performers and some of the UK's up and coming classical artists. More information on this to follow.

What better way to spend a night than in the gardens of Glamis Castle with a picnic, some fizz and the most enchanting music?
