Following on from the most recent Government guidance, we will be re-opening our gardens and grounds from Thursday 1st April. This means that you are welcome to take in the fresh air and scenic landscapes whilst walking around the extensive gardens and grounds.
Takeaway drinks and sweet treats will be on offer from the Hub Café and the children’s play area will be available for use. Toilet facilities will also be open.
Come 1st April, spring will be in full bloom and daffodils will spectacularly line our driveway. Snowdrops, crocus, cyclamens and tulips will be on show throughout the Estate whilst the longer days and warmer weather allows for greater opportunities to get outside and explore.
It is our priority to make you feel safe when you visit. Therefore, we request that you review the current Government guidelines when travelling as at the moment only those who reside in the Angus area are able to visit.
We also ask you to pre-book your visit via our website. This enables our team to monitor visitor numbers and allow for adequate social distancing measures to be adhered to.
Glamis Castle will re-open from Monday 26th April allowing Castle tours to recommence from 10am. We very much look forward to welcoming you to our historic setting and allowing you to experience all that the Estate has to offer.
