Join us for a magical illuminated trail through the gardens of Glamis Castle looking out for some of your favourite characters from classic children’s fairy tales.

Step into a fairy tale this winter when enjoying a shimmering light show set across the garden trails at Glamis Castle. Light installations will glimmer and twinkle whilst telling the tales of witches, trolls and classic childhood stories.

A family friendly event, the inaugural show will run from October 29th-November 7th from 4pm-8.15pm each night offering visitors another opportunity to experience the castle’s spectacular grounds and gardens, but this time under moonlight.

Beginning the light show route close to the Castle and moving towards the Walled Garden, visitors will discover an array of magical installations amongst the trees including a Troll Bridge, a Peter Pan themed performance and illuminated greenhouses inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk.

There will also be opportunities to relax and enjoy the displays at a number of refreshment stations en route, at the Hub Café and Castle Kitchen Restaurant*(*food and drink is an additional charge and paid for on the evening)

We recommend that you wrap up for the weather and wear sensible footwear for walking on our nature trails.
