We are hosting a Snowdrop Weekend on 26th and 27th February 2022 (10am – 3pm)

This snowdrop celebration will be a combination of all thing’s snowdrops, including a chance to plant snowdrops, discover snowdrops throughout the gardens and even take some snowdrops home with you.

Our Head Gardener, Des Cotton, invites you to explore the Nature Trail located in Glamis Castle Gardens where the planting of the bulbs will take place. We will be planting a selection of both single and double snowdrops (Galanthus nivalis and Galanthus ‘Flore Pleno’ for those galanthophiles amongst you).

We will be supplying some planting tools and staff will be on hand to direct and answer questions. Please do bring a trowel to help supply of tools. Hand sanitiser stations are located throughout the gardens as well as the Castle.

The Castle Kitchen Restaurant will be open each day serving a selection of hot food and drinks from our winter larder. The Pavilion gift shop shall also be open to browse and purchase our selection of gifts.
