Practice floral artistry

We are delighted to offer this workshop, in conjunction with Vikky Houstoun, who is the owner of Flora Design Studio, a florist business located at Joshua Plumtree on Bank Street in Kirriemuir.

Her style is less conventional, more natural and relaxed. She’s comfortable with making her own rules and experimenting with colours and textures in her floral designs while keeping her floristry as sustainable as she can. All her cuttings find their way back to the earth via their compost heap, supporting the growth of the next season of flowers and foliage in their cutting garden.

Spring Arrangement Workshop – Saturday, 25th April

Come join us for a fun, relaxed and friendly hands-on flower arranging workshop using beautiful spring flowers and foliage. Vikky will kick things off with an easy, step-by-step demonstration, and then you’ll get the chance to create your own arrangement. Don’t worry, support and guidance will be available throughout the session. This workshop offers you the chance to tap into your creativity, discover the art of floral design and of course you go away with new skills and knowledge to be able to feel confident enough to practice at home. This is also a great opportunity to be creative with friends or come on your own and meet new ones!

The workshop is for people aged 17 years and above. All materials are supplied on the day but please bring an apron if you prefer.

Our Flower Arranging Workshop will take place on Saturday 25th April from 10.30am and tickets cost £55 per adult.
