A great family day out!

If you are looking to round off the summer school holidays with an adventure for the whole family, then Glamis Castle can help. From 11th to 15th August, children can explore our gardens and grounds for free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Families can wander through our vibrant gardens bursting with colour, meet our Macbeth sculptures and learn some legendary tales, spot wildlife hiding among the trees and flowers and burn off some energy in our fun-filled playpark.

Don’t forget that over this time, you can join in our dragon trail. Complete various clues throughout our gardens to visit marked locations where you might find a glimpse of a dragon or two.

This is the perfect way to soak up the last of the summer together.

Gardens and grounds admission tickets cost £9.50 per adult and accompanying children under the age of 16 can enter for free from 11th – 15th August, 2025.
