The Strathmore Highland Games is a fun and decidedly Scottish day out with something for all the family. There’s all the traditional games you’d expect to see at a Highland gathering – tossing the caber, Highland dancing, piping competitions, throwing hammers, shot putt and tug of war. There’s also a range of track events for visitors to spectate.
As well as the traditional fayre, there’s a bouncy castle and races for younger visitors and a mouth-watering selection of local food and drink producers showcasing the very best of Angus.
