See our extensive gardens and grounds flourish and change throughout our open season.
Springtime is perhaps the most dramatic season when the mile long avenue is stunningly lined with thousands of daffodils.
In the summer superb displays of rhododendrons and azaleas with their spectacular colours can be seen around the grounds. This is also the time to relax and enjoy the heady scents of the flowers in the Italian Garden.
In autumn the abundance of trees in the grounds ensures the visitor is treated to a glorious spectacle of autumnal colour.
Dogs kept on lead are welcome.
The Walled Garden
The Walled Garden features fruits, vegetables, a fun grass maze, Monet style fountains and a variety of fragrant flowers.
The Italian Garden
Lovingly designed by Countess Cecilia – mother to HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother – this garden is a pleasure to stroll through.
